The land of shower shit rivers

so Lengkong was awesome again. There is a big chance that I have discovered a new gibbon family! And that feeling right there. That is my ultimate High! But of course in the land of shower shit rivers there always happens a lot more than just that. I saw monyets/makaken in Lengkong too. I can start making a real list of my first real wild seen primates. And next too al the seeing of wildlife I also ate fried grashoppers. And no it’s not true what they say I didn’t taste any nuts. It taste kind of like schrimps actually. My college got sick of eating them. He got a allergic reaction. So then he went back to Cikananga and I was of in the middle of nowhere all alone. And that made it even more awesome! Sure I wasn’t completely alone I mean I still had my host family and my guide but it’s pretty hard to communicate when they don’t speak English and I don’t speak Bahasa. But you know me.. I was just fine. It was an adventure for sure.

Sunday I got back from Lengkong. And of Tuesday I got sick. Now it’s Friday and I’m finaly feeling better again. Well I don’t have to run to the toilet anymore if you understand what I’m talking about.

Tuesday and Wednesday we had a group of school kinds over. And that was awesome too. I had to help with the education program.

Tomorrow my mentor is going on a holiday for a small week. So I have to move into her house to take care of the cats and the dog. And when she’s back I can start planning my trips to Lengkong again.

So yeah live is pretty buzzy over here. But hey I’m exactly were I want to be.

Being here has been so inspiring. I’ve met a lot of great people, young people who are trying just as hard to make it in this hard animal world. It made me think about studying more and what job function I really want.

You may thing my life is pretty crazy over here
But it’s actually pretty normal to me. 
